Every year on December 10, Human Rights Day is honoured and celebrated across the world. These rights belong to everyone in the globe, and no one has the authority to take them away. The Keralan government declared it mandatory for all government agencies, educational institutions, and other organisations in Kerala to commemorate this day. Thus, everyone must take a Human Rights Oath. Additionally, a number of programmes will be held in support of this day to raise awareness among the populace.

On December 9, 2022, in the campus' General Hall, the Principal, Vice Principal, Student Teachers, and Teachers of the Government College of Teacher Education, Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram, took the oath in accordance with this directive. I B.Ed student Mariya said the oath, and everyone in the room echoed her.
