Government College of Teacher Education in Association with Noorul Islam College of Dental Sciences conducted A Free Dental Camp in GCTE Trivandrum as a part of National ToothBrushing Day 2022 on November 7 Monday.
Reshma Rajesh's enchanting and melodic prayer at 9:30 am marked the beginning of the day. Dr. Santhosh Kumar Sir, Principal of GCTE, officially launched the programme. Miss Ashly L. Paul served as the program's host. Miss Bushra Ansary handled the welcome while Kavya Sagar handled the thanksgiving. Dr. Joly S. Vice Principal GCTE Trivandrum and Dr. Syam Kumar Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry at NIMS Trivandrum presented awards. Alwin S. Clement and Akshay AR created Health Talks. The dental college students performed a lovely and meaningful skit.
Following the inaugural event, Noorul Islam College's house surgery students offered free dental examinations. I was one of over 20 GCTE students and teachers that took part in it. A complimentary prescription was supplied, which included Colgate paste.
Last but not least, on behalf of the students and teachers of GCTE Trivandrum, we would like to convey our sincere appreciation to NIMS Trivandrum for joining us in observing National Toothbrushing Day. As a modest mark of our appreciation, we presented Dr. Syam Kumar Sir, Head of the Department at the Noorul Islam College of Dental Sciences in Trivandrum, with a tiny memento. The event came to a conclusion around 12:30 PM.
