ORIENTATION FOR SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME

The GCTE, Thycaud first-year B.Ed. students have been preparing for the school introduction programme for one week in January 2023. The professors of the GCTE, Thycaud gave the student teachers an orientation on December 21 in the Research Room as the first stage in the curriculum.

The supports put in place to help instructors adjust to a new workplace culture are collectively referred to as induction. Prioritizing a stand-alone programme at the start of the school year will help to meet the majority of the needs right away. Understanding students, classrooms, and content are just the beginning of induction. For instructors to settle in and feel secure, knowledge of the systems and procedures that govern the workplace as well as school norms is essential; nevertheless, it's crucial to bear in mind the pace at which this is done.

The school's orientation programme is slated to take place from January 3 through January 7, 2023. Ms. Parvathy S. served as the program's host. The school introduction programme received helpful guidance and direction from Dr. Issac Paul, Dr. Joly, Dr. Jayakrishna, Ms. Chithralekha, Ms. Shiba, Ms. Sheena, Ms. Asha, Mr. Jithin Prem, and Dr. Praveena M. The pupils participated and took notes on important areas for later reference. Teachers have fully encouraged and supported pupils in preparation for the next induction programme. Ms. Shiba Ma'am offered the program's closing vote of gratitude.

The following are some things to keep in mind when drafting reports and throughout the school introduction programme:

1. Participate in at least two senior teacher classes.

2. Attend a lesson with your friends.

3. Keep track of your participation in school clubs, NCC, NSS, achievements, etc.

4. The School's History

7.Reflective Journal,

and so on...
