The 28th of November 2022 was a very pleasant day. The day began with the Samvidhan Divas (Constitution Day) event, which was organised by students from the social science department of G C T E Thycaud. They carefully assembled the program's organisation.Every year on November 26th, Samvidhan Divas, popularly known as Constitution Day, is commemorated. The Constituent Assembly of India formally ratified the Indian Constitution on November 26, 1949, and it took effect on January 26, 1950. Due to the college's holiday on December 26, the Samvidhan Divas was commemorated on December 28 at the Government College of Teacher Education in Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram. The college's Social Science Association organised the events, which took place at the Research Room.
I B.Ed student Mariya's prayer song opened the presentation. Ancila then gave an opening address for the day after that. This speech covered the historical developments that finally resulted in the creation of the Indian Constitution. Together with other student teachers and teaching staff, the association's pupils sang Vande Mataram to instil a sense of patriotism in everyone. Later, Sandhya gave the audience a reading of the Preamble and explained its significance.
It was fascinating to hear the Fundamental Rights explained in detail. Remya spoke on the Right to Equality, which is addressed by Articles 14 through 18. Aarsha highlighted the Articles 19 to 22 that deal with the Right to Freedom. Articles 23 and 24 on the right against exploitation, Articles 25 to 28 on the right to religious freedom, and Articles 29 to 30 on the right to culture and education were all further examined by Sudheera, Sandhya, and Sini, respectively. Finally, Mariya addressed the Right to Constitutional Remedies, which is stated in Article 32 and which Ambedkar cherishes the most. Mary Antony outlined the Fundamental Duties of every citizen. Following that, everyone took an oath to uphold the Constitution and adhere to its ideals.Finally, Praveen administered a brief test based on all of the presentations made. All of the participants sang the National Anthem to mark the program's conclusion.
