The 74th Republic Day was commemorated at Government College of Teacher Education, Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram. The professors and students gathered in the college's front yard by 8 am as per the instructions given. The welcoming address was given by Praveen Kumar, chairman of the college union, to start the event. The Republic Day message was delivered by Dr. V K Santhosh Kumar Sir, the principal of GCTE, as well as the National Flag. The Vice Principal, Dr. Jolly S was then commended. Srinath of 2nd M.Ed then extended the vote of thanks.
The I B.Ed students performed a patriotic fusion song following the event. The entire class joined in on the song. Then, sweets were given to every kid, teacher, and non-teaching staff member. Following that, we posed for photos with the principal and our classmates. For all GCTEians, the day was quite lovely. The 74th Republic Day ceremonies aimed to reinforce India's democratic and republican values.
