The GCTE, Thycaud witnessed the launch of the arts club and Union Day on February 8, 2023. The day that will be with me forever. For me, it was a wonderful and unforgettable day. We all took full advantage of the day. Praveen Kumar gave the opening remarks before the programme began with a prayer. Dr. V.K. Santhosh Kumar, the esteemed principal, delivered the presidential speech. Mr. Sudheer Karama, a movie actor, was the main guest. He graduated from our GCTE. He is highly recognised for his work in movies like Sapthamasree Thaskaraha and Ennu ninte Moideen, among others. It gave me great pleasure to have him attend our Union Day and the Arts club inauguration as the principal guest.
The union's name, "ONCHE," which in Tulu means "Together," was revealed by the chief guest. Then, he lit the candles to formally declare the Union Day. The primary guest then talked about his memories of GCTE after that. It is his joy to be the main guest. He gave us advice for being kind and motivating instructors in the future as well as his perspective as a teacher.Following the chief guest's address, Ms. Parvathy S. and Ms. Mariya George sang the well-known song in which Sudheer Karamana starred and Ms. Bhagya Murali displayed stunning dancing moves.
After the official function, we, as union members, took a photo with our beloved guest actor, Audheer Karamana. Following that, I personally had a photo taken with him. It was remarkable how humble he was.
The time for the students' numerous programmes began after the inauguration ceremony. They all exclaimed with joy and displayed their skills. Students presented solo songs, group songs, cinematic dance, etc. Throughout the programmes, teachers themselves were ecstatic.
Our performance was one of them. Myself (Amal Muhammed), Veena, Kavya Dinesh, Mahima, Angitha, Aswathy, Keerthana, Ajmal, Praveen, and Vignesh performed a group dance together.We enjoyed a lot. An unforgettable event in life.
Then Jessy and I performed a song together. For us, it was a brand-new experience. It was enjoyable and will always be a favourite occasion for us.
Everyone has enjoyed their fullest and the Union Day was a grant success and memmorable one.The success of the Union Day can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of the organizers, who put in a lot of effort to ensure that the event was well-planned and executed. Overall, the college union day was a perfect platform for students to come together, celebrate their achievements, and forge new friendships. It was a fantastic day, and the memories created will be cherished for years to come
