The Government College of Teacher Education, Thiruvananthapuram, celebrated World Environment Day on June 5, 2023, at 9:30 AM in General Hall 1. Organized by BIOSTAR and BIO PARADISE in association with IQAC, the event aimed to promote environmental awareness.
A symbolic tree planting by Principal Dr. AV Sujith, Union Chairman Praveen Kumar, and Dr. Rajashree K marked the commitment to conservation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Student Convenor Kavya Sagar, who also served as the compere. The slogan "Love to Breathe, Save the Trees" encapsulated the day's message.
