The Government College of Teacher Education celebrated Onam on 23rd and 24th August 2023 with a vibrant and colorful program named "Kalika" The festivities were marked by a series of interesting and traditional games such as Vadamvali (tug of war), Sundharikk Pottuthodal, Uriyadi etc and the traditional art of Pookalam, where students created beautiful floral designs.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the grand Onasadhya, a traditional feast that delighted everyone with its rich array of dishes. The program also featured numerous musical performances and songs that added to the festive spirit, making the event even more enjoyable.
The entire celebration was very engaging and saw enthusiastic participation from all batches, creating a lively and spirited atmosphere. The success of "Kalika" truly embodied the essence of Onam, fostering a sense of unity and joy among all attendees.
