COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP : DAY 4 -Soulful Reflections

The day kicked off bright and early at 6:30 am with a lively aerobics session led by Ms. Jithi J.G., which really got everyone energized. After a hearty breakfast, we shared camp news and reflected on our experiences from the past days. The highlight of the morning was Gireesh Puliyoor's inspiring poetry session. His heartfelt poem about menstruation stigma and his powerful delivery made a big impact. His book, *Karinkuyilum Kanivellariyum*, was generously donated to our library by Anju Teacher

In the afternoon, we excitedly visited the Indian Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) in Thiruvananthapuram. Mr. Umesh Khadane’s talk on "The Art and Science of Learning" was both engaging and enlightening. We were then treated to a tour of their impressive space science labs, which, while complex, gave us a fascinating peek into scientific research.Back at Grameena Padana Kendram, we prepped for the evening's cultural programs. Dinner was served, and the night was filled with performances. Bhagya Murali and Parvathy S. kicked things off with a fantastic act, and Anju Ma’am's surprise song was a delightful highlight. An impromptu role-play by Sibana S. and Praveen Kumar, recreating a classic movie scene, had everyone laughing.

What started as a few planned acts turned into a lively showcase of talent, extending into the early hours. As the camp drew to a close, everyone enjoyed the festivities, creating cherished memories before heading to bed at 1:30 am.
