On February 16, 2024, the final day of the Chiranthana camp arrived with great energy and enthusiasm from the students. The day started at 6:30 am with a lively aerobics session led by Ms. Jithi J.G., which everyone enjoyed thoroughly. Mrs. Chinju S. Nair thanked Ms. Jithi for her dedication over the past five days.After a quick room clean-up, the students gathered in the hall at 9:30 am for the camp news, showcasing their creativity. The morning continued with an engaging session by Mr. Harikrishnan, who demonstrated innovative recycled products like bottle cap pen drive holders and reusable lamps, fitting perfectly with the camp's theme of sustainable development.
The highlight of the day was the Valedictory Session, starting with a prayer by Ms. Parvathy S. and hosted by Ms. Ashly L. Paul. Dr. Anju L. welcomed everyone, followed by Dr. V.K. Santhosh Kumar's encouraging presidential address, praising the students for their hard work. The session included reflections from the students, a felicitation of the Grameena Padana Kendram staff, and the handover of funds from the sale of lotion and hand wash to Dr. Santhosh Kumar.The camp concluded with lunch, and the 53 students from the 2nd Year B.Ed. program departed, taking with them new skills and lasting memories. Chiranthana wrapped up successfully, leaving everyone with a sense of accomplishment and joy.
